From the celebrated tea fields of Shirakawa in Uji, Japan, our Shirakawa Gokou Matcha offers a rare glimpse into the unique character of the Gokou cultivar. Crafted by Mr. Kiyoharu Tsuji, a master producer known for his unmatched skill, this single-cultivar matcha is a testament to the dedication and tradition of Japanese tea-making.

This matcha carries a light floral aroma that hints at its delicate sweetness. The flavor is creamy and full, with subtle notes of toasted hazelnut and a hint of fresh herbs. Its silky texture and clean finish make every sip memorable.

High quality, fine and smooth

While I don’t drink a lot of matcha, it’s always easy to tell within the first sip if it’s going to be an enjoyable bowl or a hard one to get through.

This gokou is most definitely the former.

Bright greens, smooth and tasty notes that all get you to a smile by the end of the bowl.
